About Us - At LV=, we have capital and income retirement planning products, offering a brighter future
for those who are planning, or aleady in, retirement.
We are part of the Liverpool Victoria group of
companies ( www.LV.com) which was founded over 160 years ago and has more than 2.5 million members
and customers.

Integrity - Over the years, our company has evelvoed and our name has changed (in most recent years
you may remember us as Tomorrow or GE Life).  However, our commitment to integrity has never wavered.

Commitment To Service - As GE Life, we won the  Incisive Media Gold Standard Awards for Pensions
three years running in 2004, 2005 and 2006.  This prestigious awards indentifies financial companies that
are seen as challenging standard business practices to offer their clients more.  We were then
highly commended in 2007 after a period of considerable change following the sale of the business to Swiss
Re. - at which pont the business was relaunched under the Tomorrow brand.

In 2007, Tomorrow received a 4 star pensions service rating from Defaqto - an independent market
research company.  Overall, over 80% of our scores for key aspects of service delivery were above
the industry benchmark, warranting a 4 star service mark.  We scored particularly well for Administration
(New Business) and Broker Consultant Services.  All of which further highlight our service commitment to you.

2007 also saw us awarded a coveted four stars in the Financial Adviser Service Awards, for the second
year running.  These awards recognise the importance of quality service from product providers to their
IFA clients and are considered to be the benchmark for service standards within the retail
finance marketplace.

Innovation - We innovate in response to market needs, our Specialist retirement team were the first
to launch "smoker" annuities and value protected annuities.  We were also one of the first into key
new markets such as Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP), Income Drawdown and Alternatively
Secured Pensions (Drawdown for those aged 75+).  Our focus on those specifically reaching, or in
retirement gives us the insight into these markets necessary to ensure we keep moving with
changing times and embrace customer needs.

Community and Volunteerism - At LV= we actively support our community, volunteering our time and
skills to support local projects.

Our core theme for 2007-2009 is "protecting our children and their future".  We aim to do this
through programmes that are "close to home" and relevant to all of us, and in particular families with children.

As part of strategy we have commited our support to two key initiatives:

  • Increased title sponsorship of the Streetwise Safety Centre, which is an award winning
    interactive safety education centre in
Bournemouth used to raise awareness of everyday safety
and good citizenship issues amongst children.
  • Renewed sponsorship of Kidzone, a Bournemouth-based beach safety scheme for young
children. Together these programmes will help thousands of children and can genuinely help to
    save lives.

On that note, in August 2007, LV= and our affinity partner csma reached a milestone donation figure
of £515,000 raised for the RNLI. More importantly the lifeboats we have sponsored have already saved
two lives.

We also have the Care and Support Fund for members and we are looking at other new proposals and
schemes for the future. This may lead to a
LV= ‘Charity of the Year’ scheme, whereby members could vote
for a lead charity that we would support during a given year.
